Vatican Hosts Historic LGBTQ Jubilee Event

For the first time ever, a special Jubilee event is being dedicated to "Catholic" homosexuals, notes the Italian daily Il Messaggero, despite the Church’s 2000-year condemnation of sodomy. According to Il Messaggero, Pope Francis approved the pilgrimage specifically for LGBTQ individuals as part of the 2025 Jubilee celebrations.
On September 5, Catholic members of the LGBTQ+ community will be hosted by the Jesuit Church of the Gesù, in central Rome, for a momentous vigil service.
The Jubilee 2025 initiative is sponsored by Jonathan’s Tent, an Italian pro-LGBTQ organization founded in 2018 by Catholic priest Father David Esposito that aims to reconcile “homosexuality and faith.”
Archbishop Rino Fisichella, pro-prefect of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Evangelization reportedly said that he worked closely with Pope Francis to facilitate the arrangements.
The news has been welcomed by other LGBT advocacy groups from far and wide.
Francis an LGBT Activist
Hence, we see that Francis isn't just an LGBTQ sympathizer but an LGBTQ activist. For years he has gone out of his way to make issue of homosexuality—the cause of committing terrible acts of indecency with the same sex. This is an abuse against the Church, which is yet another smear to the Holy Face done under the guise of mercy.
Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò was "excommunicated" for alleging that Francis was abusing the Church yet we have glaring evidence that Viganò was right. And not only right but just. He says what all the Catholic bishops should be saying so that people will understand that what Francis is doing in no way represents the Catholic Church.
The 2025 jubilee event for homosexuals is the culmination of years pro-LGBT advocacy that Francis and his Vatican have promoted. This includes his demand that laws be enacted to protect homosexual cohabitation, his sharp criticism of bishops who oppose such laws, his blessing of same-sex couples as advocated in Fiducia Supplicans, his weekly audiences with “transgenders,” and his statement that LGBT living “is not a crime.”
Unfortunately, a great many today see homosexuality as a Catholic thing thanks to this ongoing Vatican scandal of dignifying LGBT. The ruling body in Rome seems to have forgotten that LGBT conduct is one of the “four sins crying to Heaven for vengeance.” And too, they have forgotten the fierce punishment and destruction that befell Sodom and Gomorrah for the sin of homosexuality.
Holy Scripture makes it clear:
“Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, because it is an abomination.” (Leviticus 18:22)
St. Paul speaks of those infamous men, who “leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts one towards another, men with men working that which is filthy, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error.” (Roman 1:27)
The Apostle goes on to describe these offenders as “foolish, dissolute, without affection, without fidelity, without mercy” who “having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them.” (Romans 1: 31,32)
In the short space of eleven years, the Vatican has gone from condemning homosexuality to arranging jubilee events for homosexuals. When Catholics are told that Pope Francis promotes LGBTQ maybe they’ll believe it now.
Francis Proclaims Pro-LGBT Synod Document to be Magisterial
What is bewildering is that on November 25, Francis declared the final document of the infamous Synod on Synodality to be part of the Ordinary Magisterium of the Catholic Church and he is insisting that it be implemented in all the Catholic dioceses throughout the world.
The document of course is not magisterial since the whole thrust of the Synod was to dismiss doctrine and to move forward with a new church of man that dignifies LGBT, woman priests, and other religions. These topics in fact were central to the synodal discussions as the synod was overseen by high-ranking homosexuals including Fr. James Martin who moderated the event.
In order to facilitate its sale to unwary Catholics, the specific mention of homosexuality was deliberately omitted in the final document, but the document nonetheless sanctions and embraces all the discussions of the Synod and even throws out strong hints about not “marginalizing” those of alternative orientation.
Hence the synodal agenda of embracing LGBT has now been ‘officially elevated’ to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, but in reality it hasn’t been, nor could it ever be.
Francis and the Church elders would do well to remember that all the holy doctors of the Church going back to antiquity (including St. Alphonsus de Ligouri, St. Robert Bellarmine, and St. Francis de Sales) have made it clear that any attempt to officially promote heresy or profanation from the Chair of Peter causes the occupant of that Chair to lose his office.
In the words of St. Robert Bellarmine:
“A Pope who is a manifest heretic automatically ceases to be a Pope and head, just as he ceases automatically to be a Christian and member of the Church. Wherefore, he can be judged and punished by the Church. This is the teaching of all the ancient Fathers who teach that manifest heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction.”
