Italy's Catholic PM Giorgia Meloni: God, Homeland, Family

Italy's new leader is a Catholic mother who loves "God, family, and country."

In her victory speech, the new Italian prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, painted a new picture for the country that was once intrinsically united with Holy Mother Church after preliminary results in Sunday’s national election showed her Brothers of Italy, Fratelli d'Italia, and its conservative coalition the head of the new government.

“If we are called to govern this nation, we will do it for everyone, we will do it for all Italians and we will do it with the aim of uniting the people [of this country],” Meloni proclaimed during her victory speech in Rome.

Meloni, who campaigned on a premise of restoring “God, country and family” to Italy, said the electoral victory was only a beginning.

“This is a night of pride for Brothers of Italy, but it is a starting point, not a finish line,” Meloni asserted, as quoted by The Guardian.

This has been a constant theme for Meloni and her party. At the National Conservatism Conference in Rome, Italy in 2020, Meloni expressed positive examples of God, Honor, Country by President Ronald Reagan, Pope John Paul II, and the Freedom of Nations.

A few highlights of the speech:

"Our main enemy today is the globalist drift of those who view identity and all its forms to be an evil to overcome. And constantly ask to shift real power away from the people to supernational entities headed by supposedly enlightened elites...

Let us be clear in our mind, because we did not fight against and defeat communism in order to replace it with a new international regime, but to permit independent nation states once again to defend the freedom, identity and sovereignty of their peoples...

…As a serious alternative to the beaurocratic super state ..and although that someone in Brussels or Frankfort, Davos or the City of London, lacks democratic legitimacy, everyday it commissions the economic choices and political decisions of those who have invested in that legitimacy by their popular vote...

It means that whether the false democrats like it or not, national conservatives in every latitude are actually the only real Democrats. Because it is only by defending the nation states, that we defend the political sovereignty that belongs to the citizens of that state."

Meloni a Bulwark Against Internationalist-Socialism:

Meloni is a champion for traditional families, national identity, and Italy's country’s Christian roots. During the campaign earlier this year, she affirmed “no to the LGBT lobby, yes to sexual identity, no to gender ideology.”

The founder of Italy's most recent Family Day, Massimo Gandolfini, said in 2019: “We recognize that Brothers of Italy and Giorgia Meloni are pursuing a policy to the advantage of the family, for the defense of life from conception to natural death, and the educational freedom of parents.”

Her comments against becoming slaves to internationalist-socialists and global financiers:

“Why is the family an enemy? Why is the family so frightening? There is a single answer to all these questions.

“Because it defines us. Because it is our identity. Because everything that defines us is now an enemy for those who would like us to no longer have an identity and to simply be perfect consumer slaves.

“And so they attack national identity, they attack religious identity, they attack gender identity, they attack family identity.

“I can’t define myself as Italian, Christian, woman, mother. No. I must be Citizen X, Gender X, Parent 1, Parent 2. I must be a number.

“Because when I am only a number, when I no longer have an identity or roots, then I will be the perfect slave at the mercy of financial speculators. The perfect consumer.

“That’s why we inspire so much fear. That’s why this event inspires so much fear. Because we do not want to be numbers. We will defend the value of the human being.

“Every single human being. Because each of us has a unique genetic code that is unrepeatable. And, like it or not, that is sacred. We will defend it. We will defend God, country and family.

“Those things that disgust people so much. We will do it to defend our freedom because we will never be slaves and simple consumers at the mercy of financial speculators. That is our mission.”

Meloni meets Cardinal Robert Sarah

Within the Catholic world, all eyes have been on Meloni's meeting with Cardinal Robert Sarah, prefect emeritus of the Congregation for Divine Worship, concelebrant of the Tridentine Mass (Traditional Latin Mass), and one of the chief opponents to the heretical pontificate of Pope Francis.

The precise details of the meeting have not been revealed but it has bred concern among liberal "Catholics" and inspired hope amongst traditional Catholics. Those among the socialist infiltration of the Church have declared that Meloni is ‘hard right,' a 'fascist,' and a 'white-supremacist,' while claiming that this meeting is illustrates that ‘Cardinal Sarah's vision of the church is very different to that of Pope Francis.' Many socialist critics are those who also support heretical ecumenism with Islam, synergy with transhumanism, schismatic bishops in Belgium and Germany, and homosexual priests worldwide.

Sarah and Meloni share in their belief that Europe has an obligation to maintain its Christian culture in the onslaught of pagan and masonic modernism.

Cardinal Sarah has clearly articulated how Europe has lost its Christian roots and is close to dying culturally and actually.
