Great reminder to pray for what the Pope does not!

Praying for the Pope’s Intentions....means this: praying for the traditional 6 intentions that every Pope is required to pray for.

For a plenary indulgence, it is a requirement, but know that it part of the wisdom of the Holy Mother Church, in making sure those 6 important intentions are always prayed for, especially when the Pope himself fails to do so. That is why we join in to remember these six intentions.

In our age when the Faith is under attack, when the Pope himself is propagating errors and advancing heresy, and when the Church allows the scandal of the sexual abuse of children to advance, and to his week allowing the demonic nativity scene in St. Peters, how can we possible pray “for the intentions of the Holy Father”?

Again, by praying for the intentions of the Pope the Church has in her tradition understood it as the praying for the 6 objective intentions of the Holy Father are as follows:

The Exaltation of the Church

The Propagation of the Faith

The Extirpation of Heresy

The Conversion of Sinners

The Concord between Christian Princes

The Further Welfare of the Christian People

We live in very dangerous times when error is advanced and truth is hidden. Souls today are exposed to more heresies and errors than arguably ever before in our history. Modernism, the synthesis of all heresies, along with relativism, subjectivism, religious liberty, freemasonary, and false ecumenism poisons the mind of many in the Church and without. And what are we doing to stop it? Do we pray that souls may know that the Catholic Church is the one true Church? What are we doing to help counter these heresies? Do we pray for God, through Our Lady, to crush heresy?

Our Blessed Mother at Fatima said that many souls go to Hell because there is no one to pray for them!

Thank God that the Church in her wisdom gives us a reminder to always pray for these intentions! Let us pray hard and with our heart for these 6 intentions to save souls and by doing so hope to save them from the fires of hell.

Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven especially those who are in need of Thy mercy! Amen.
