Gratitude for America is what will Revive America and Make it Great Again

In the wake of Donald Trump's landslide victory over Kamala Harris, the murmurers go about saying that “Trump will make the people lash out and bring about chaos in the U.S." Certain people indeed will lash out, but that's not Trump's fault but the fault of those who are ungrateful for Trump and for this great nation God has given us.
In Christ's time, the murmurers lashed out against Christ and brought about a horrific state of chaos, but that wasn't Jesus' fault but the fault of those who were ungrateful for the gift of the Messiah that the Father had sent them.
Throughout history ingratitude has brought about the fall of nations to their enemies with many scourges and chastisements leading into their fall. This will tell us that gratitude is what preserves nations free from oppression despite the many attacks they receive from their enemies. It remains to be seen whether or not America will fully emerge victorious over the socialist enemy.
Ingratitude to Blame
In recent years our nation has been plagued with historic floods, tornados, great heat, failed crops, historic fires, disease, oppressive lockdowns, and restrictions against Christian liberty. Like never before we see our country going the way of the drain with rampant immorality and vice, murder and abortion, unchecked sodomy and “trans” sickness, while inflation has soared to unprecedented heights with astronomical prices that can only be called inhumane. Socialist deep state Democrats have been at the helm orchestrating these miseries in an attempt to place America at the mercy of internationalist despots, but when all is said and done these miseries have come from the hand of God for our ingratitude.
On the flip side, four years of misery under Biden-Kamala apparently have taught America a lesson. Now people better appreciate what they had during Trump’s first term, which hopefully will elicit many graces from above to assist Trump in his plan to place America back on its feet.
Gratitude will Make America Triumphant
The moral of the story is that a nation’s gratitude for gifts bestowed is what will make it prosperous and triumphant over the enemy. But the opposite is also true. What is needed to keep America free is nationwide amendment of life and a true leader who will echo Lincoln’s March 30, 1863, Proclamation in which he cited the ingratitude of America that had brought upon it “the calamity of civil war.” Therein he exhorted the nation “to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.”
Would that America confess its national sins and prayed for forgiveness! This would quickly restore America more than any skills could. During this historic crossroads (which isn’t complete until after inauguration), we would do well to reflect on the words of Lincoln’s Proclamation.
“We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven; we have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity; we have grown in numbers, wealth, and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us.”
Hopefully, President Trump in his second term will echo these words as part of his plan to Make America Great Again.
