Francis praises pro-LGBT Fr. James Martin for his ‘outreach’ to homosexuals

He said that “homosexuality isn’t a crime,” he insisted that laws be passed to protect homosexual living, he co-authored the infamous Fiducia Supplicans endorsing the clerical blessing of homosexual couples and relations. Now Pope Francis has written and published a preface to a new book by LGBT advocate Fr. James Martin who has spent his career spreading sodomy among Catholic priests.

The book, Come Forth: The Promise of Jesus’s Greatest Miracle is supposedly a “Meditation on the Raising of Lazarus” from the dead, but it only uses Christ’s raising of Lazarus to say that Jesus calls homosexuals to rise from their sepulchers of guilt and to enjoy the LGBT freedom God has given them. It urges gays to “come out” of their sepulchers and “embrace” their LGBT life as a form of liberty or resurrection.

The irony being that their gay orientation and lifestyle is the sepulcher that enslaves them and banishes them from the friendship of God. Through the centuries the Church always urged homosexuals to rise from the sepulcher of sin and to walk at liberty with Christ, but Francis is urging the exact opposite, even telling gays that, ‘God made you this way’ and that He “accepts you as you are.”

In his Preface to Martin’s book, Francis erroneously claims that the “divine” is never separated from the “human” in Christianity. “Christian faith is the ever-present co-mingling of the eternal and the contingent, of heaven and earth, of the divine and the human—never one without the other.”

Who ever told Francis that queer behavior is part of "Christian Faith?"

Francis is saying that one can live in mortal sin and abide with God at the same time. This simply isn’t true. Mortal sin eternally banishes one to the fires of Hell if not repented of before death, but Francis rejects doctrine and says things like ‘Hell does not exist’ and that unrepentant souls simply “disappear” upon death. He pulls ideas out of his hat and calls them “doctrine” while discarding the true doctrines of the Faith.

The Bible Says Homosexuality is Criminal

Has he forgotten the teaching of St. Paul who describes homosexuals as men who “have burned in their lusts one towards another, men with men working that which is filthy, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due?” (Romans 1:27) The Apostle goes on to say, “that they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them.” (32)

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, former Papal Nuncio to the United States has been criticized for saying that a former novice of Francis confided in him that while a bishop he [Francis] sexually abused him. Why is this so hard to believe? What is more daring and vile, to simply be a homosexual or to publicly promote homosexuality? Who is worse, a drug user or a drug pusher?  Francis has spent much of his time and energy pushing homosexuality, which lends credence to the claim of his former novice.

The mere fact that Francis hasn’t publicly condemned and excommunicated Fr. James Martin is stark proof that he is his sympathizer. As with many of his pro-LGBT statements, commissions, and omissions, his preface to Martin’s book will greatly enhance the spread and embrace of homosexuality throughout the world. This is what the book is designed to do and Francis has blessed this rot. According to Archbishop Viganò, Francis is deliberately trying to destroy the Church with homosexuality.

Failure to Condemn Evil Makes One Complicit in Evil

The saints teach that silence in the face of evil makes one complicit in evil. A person who through fear refuses to speak out against evil becomes a silent accomplice thus rendering himself culpable before God.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò is one of the only prelates of the Catholic Church who has had the courage and pastoral care to speak out against Francis’ multiple crimes against the Faith. Against fierce liberalist backlash Viganò has put his neck on the line and set an example of what all the clergy of the Church should be doing.

Why aren’t they doing this?
