Act of Love by the Cure De Ars

St. John Vianney, Patron of Priests (SSPX)

August 9th is the feast of one of the greatest Priest that worked in Christ's Vineyard---The Holy Cure de Ars, St. John Vianney!!!

There is a special prayer one can say on his feast for graces and it is said that whoever says this prayer will obtain the help of that saint at your dying judgement.

Eternal Father, I wish to honor St. John Vianney (Cure de Ars), and I give Thee thanks for all the graces Thou hast bestowed upon him. I ask Thee to please increase grace in my soul through the merits of this saint, and I commit the end of my life to him by this special prayer, so that by virtue of Thy goodness and promise, St. John Vianney might be my advocate and provide whatever is needed at that hour. Amen.

PROMISE: "When you wish to honor any particular saint and give Me thanks for all the graces I have bestowed on that saint, I increase grace in your soul through the merits of that saint. When you commit the end of your life to any of the saints by special prayers, I appoint those saints to be your advocates and to provide whatever you need at that hour." ~Our Lord to St. Gertrude Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich revealed in her Visions that saints are particularly powerful on their feast days and should be invoked then.

ACT OF LOVE written by the HOLY "CURÉ D'ARS" I love Thee, O my God. My only desire is to love Thee, until the last breath ot my life. I love Thee, O infinitely loveable God, and I prefer to die loving Thee, rather than to live for an instant without Thee. I love Thee, O my God, and I desire only to go to Heaven, to have the happiness of loving Thee perfectly. I love Thee, O my God, and my only fear is to go to Hell, because one will never have the sweet solace of loving Thee there. O my God, if my tongue cannot say at all times that I love Thee, at least I want my heart to repeat it to Thee! as many times as I breathe. Ah! Do me the grace to suffer while loving Thee, to love Thee while suffering, and, that when I die: I not only will love Thee, but experience it in my heart. I beg Thee that: the closer I come to my final end, Thou wilt increase and perfect my love for Thee. Amen.
